Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how AI CleanSpace (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.
AI CleanSpace helps you free storage on your device by organizing and cleaning your photo and video library, optional Gmail inbox cleanup, and on-device contacts and calendar tools. The App may also show network speed information in the Live Speed feature and offer optional Pro subscriptions through the App Store.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This policy should be read together with our Terms of Use.
2. Information We Collect
Photo Library Access
- The App may request access to your Photo Library (including full or limited access) to scan for duplicates, similar photos, screenshots, live photos, large videos, blurry photos, and related categories so you can review and delete items you choose.
- Photos and videos are processed on your device. We do not upload your photo or video library to our servers for storage or advertising.
- If you use video compression, compressed files may be saved back to your library when you choose to do so.
Contacts Access
- With your permission, the App accesses Contacts on your device to detect duplicate or incomplete entries, help you merge or remove contacts you approve, and create or restore local contact backups stored on your device.
- Contact data is not sold or used for advertising.
Calendar Access
- With your permission, the App accesses Calendar events on your device so you can review old or duplicate events and remove events you explicitly choose to delete.
- Calendar data is not sold or used for advertising.
Automatically Collected Data
- The App may collect technical information (such as app version, device type, operating system, language, approximate region derived from IP, and general diagnostics) to operate the App, improve stability and performance, and support the analytics practices described below.
Attribution & Analytics (AppsFlyer)
- The App uses the AppsFlyer mobile measurement SDK to help us understand installs, app opens, onboarding completion, and subscription / purchase conversion related to our own marketing and product analytics.
- Depending on configuration and device availability, AppsFlyer may process identifiers and technical signals such as an AppsFlyer install ID, IDFV, device/OS information, IP address, and (only when permitted by iOS and our App Tracking Transparency settings) the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- We may send in-app event names and related parameters to AppsFlyer (for example: app open, onboarding complete, and subscription-related events such as purchase or free-trial indicators, product identifiers, revenue amounts in USD for reporting, and transaction / order identifiers). These events do not include your photo or video files, contact records, calendar event contents, or Gmail message bodies.
- Data processed by AppsFlyer is handled under AppsFlyer’s terms and policies as our measurement partner. See AppsFlyer Services Privacy Policy.
- App Tracking Transparency (ATT): The current App Store build enables advertising-identifier–based attribution (APPSFLYER_ATT_ENABLED). The App may present Apple’s ATT prompt before accessing IDFA. If you allow Tracking, AppsFlyer may receive IDFA for attribution; if you deny or later revoke Tracking, the App does not use IDFA via ATT, but AppsFlyer may still receive non-IDFA technical signals and events described above. You can change tracking permission later in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Analytics (Firebase / Google Analytics)
- The App also includes the Firebase Analytics SDK (Google Analytics for Firebase / GA4) so we can measure the same kinds of product and marketing events for Google Ads (for example app open, onboarding complete, and subscription / purchase conversion).
- Collection is controlled by a remote configuration flag. When the flag is off, the SDK is present in the App but does not report analytics events. When the flag is on, Firebase may process an app instance ID, device/OS information, in-app event names and parameters (including product identifiers, StoreKit amounts/currency, and Apple transaction identifiers), and—only if you have allowed Tracking under ATT—the advertising identifier (IDFA).
- These Firebase events do not include your photo or video files, contact records, calendar event contents, or Gmail message bodies.
- Data processed by Firebase / Google Analytics is handled under Google’s terms and policies. See Google Privacy Policy and Google Analytics for Firebase.
- SKAdNetwork: conversion-value updates remain owned by AppsFlyer. Disabling Google’s ad-network registration in the App does not stop Apple from sending SKAdNetwork postbacks to ad networks.
App Configuration (non-personal)
- The App may request non-personal configuration from our servers (for example, paywall presentation preferences). These requests do not include your photo library, contacts, calendar data, or Gmail content.
Subscriptions
- Payments and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Limited subscription transaction metadata (such as product identifier, reported amount/currency for analytics, and Apple transaction identifiers) may be included in the analytics events described under Attribution & Analytics (AppsFlyer) and Analytics (Firebase / Google Analytics).
Network Speed (Live Speed)
- When you use the Live Speed feature, the App may send anonymous network traffic samples to Cloudflare’s public speed test endpoints (speed.cloudflare.com) to estimate download and upload speed.
- This traffic does not include your photos, contacts, calendar data, or Gmail message content.
Optional Local Reminders (Tips & reminders)
- With your permission, the App may schedule local notifications on your device (for example, a weekly tip and an alert after a photo library scan when enough estimated clutter is found). We do not use remote push servers for this feature.
- The App may present Apple’s system notification permission dialog after a qualifying Clean-tab scan settles, or when you tap Allow notifications in Settings while permission is still undecided. iOS notification authorization is the source of truth for whether reminders can be delivered.
- In Settings, Allow notifications shows On or Off based on iOS permission. To turn reminders off, use iOS Settings → AI CleanSpace → Notifications (or Settings → Notifications). The App does not keep a separate in-app on/off switch that overrides system permission.
- Reminder text may include approximate reclaimable storage estimates from on-device photo library scans (not exact file sizes and not uploaded to our servers). Reminder content does not include your photos, contacts, calendar data, or Gmail message content. We do not use this feature for third-party advertising or marketing profiling of your library contents.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use information only to:
- Enable photo and video scanning, categorization, and deletion you approve on your device.
- Enable contacts and calendar cleanup features you initiate.
- Enable Gmail inbox cleaning when you connect your account (see the Gmail Data Access & Use Disclosure below).
- Display optional network speed information.
- Process subscriptions and restore purchases through Apple.
- Measure marketing and product performance (including install attribution and subscription conversion) via AppsFlyer and, when enabled, Firebase Analytics as described above.
- Improve App functionality, reliability, and user experience.
- Deliver optional non-personal remote configuration (for example, paywall presentation).
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your photo library, contacts, calendar, or Gmail content for third-party advertising or unrelated marketing profiling.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Photo, contact, and calendar data used for cleanup remain on your device except where you explicitly use a feature that communicates with a third-party service you authorize (such as Gmail).
- Analytics and attribution data described under AppsFlyer and Firebase Analytics may be transmitted to AppsFlyer and Google (and related infrastructure they use to provide those services) outside your device.
- We implement reasonable technical measures to protect information while it is processed.
- Local preferences (such as onboarding state or detection settings) may be stored in on-device storage (for example, UserDefaults).
5. Your Rights
You may:
- Revoke Photo Library, Contacts, or Calendar access at any time in your device Settings → AI CleanSpace.
- Disconnect Gmail from the App (Settings in the Emails feature) or revoke the App in Google Account → Security → Third-party access.
- Manage App Tracking (when ATT is presented) in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Turn off local reminders / notifications for AI CleanSpace in iOS Settings → AI CleanSpace → Notifications (or Settings → Notifications).
- Delete the App to remove locally stored App data associated with the installation.

Gmail Data Access & Use Disclosure
This section applies when you choose to connect your Gmail account to AI CleanSpace.
1. Information We Access
When you connect your Gmail account within the App, we may access the following types of data through Google’s Gmail API, only after you grant permission through Google OAuth:
- Email metadata, such as sender, recipient, subject line, timestamps, labels, and folder information.
- Email categories, including promotional emails, social emails, spam, and messages with large attachments.
- Limited email content only when necessary to identify junk, promotional messages, or large attachments for cleanup recommendations.
We do not access, collect, or store your personal email messages for any purpose beyond providing the email-cleaning features you use in the App.
2. Purpose of Access
We access your Gmail data solely to provide the following functions:
- Identify junk, promotional, and unread emails.
- Detect large-size attachments to help free up storage.
- Categorize and recommend cleanup actions grouped by sender.
- Perform user-approved operations such as deleting, moving to trash, archiving, or marking emails as read.
Your Gmail data is never used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any unrelated purpose—including not being sent to AppsFlyer, Firebase / Google Analytics, or other analytics partners.
3. How We Use and Store Data
- Gmail data is processed to support real-time inbox scanning and cleaning while you use the feature.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer Gmail data to third parties for their own purposes.
- We do not permanently store or retain full Gmail message content on our servers.
- OAuth tokens are handled through Google Sign-In on your device; disconnecting Gmail removes App access to your account through our integration.
- Network communication with Google uses encrypted connections (HTTPS).
4. Limited Use Compliance
Our use of Gmail data complies with Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements:
- Data is not used to serve ads.
- Data is not shared with external services except as needed to call Google’s APIs on your behalf.
- Data is not used to build user profiles unrelated to email-cleaning features.
- Data is used strictly in ways directly necessary to provide or improve the Gmail cleaning function.
5. User Control & Consent
- You must grant explicit permission via Google OAuth before we can access your Gmail data.
- Requested scopes (such as gmail.modify and, when granted by Google, https://mail.google.com/) are used only to support inbox scan and delete operations you initiate.
- You may revoke the App’s access at any time from Google Account → Security → Third-party access.
- You may disconnect Gmail directly from the App (Emails settings → sign out / reconnect flow).
6. Data Deletion & Account Revocation
- When you disconnect Gmail from the App, App access to your Gmail account through our integration ends.
- We do not retain Gmail message content on our servers after you disconnect.
- You may request further assistance with data questions by contacting Orange16cat@gmail.com.
